Retro Gamer Magazine: Review

Retro Gamer is a classic gaming magazine that releases issues on a monthly basis as well as the occasional collection edition.  I have wanted to share my love of video games on the blog for a while now, and Retro Gamer magazine gives me an excellent reason to do so. Whether you grew up during the pre-Atari days, the 16-bit wars in the 90’s (that would be me) or were born in the post-cartridge world there is something to love in each issue of Retro Gamer. Indeed, one of the greatest strengths of Retro Gamer is that most issues run the gamut from early PC gaming to even the occasional “modern classic.”  The diversity of articles helps to ensure that each issue will feature content that will appeal to every lover of retro games.  My most nostalgic period of gaming runs from the Nintendo days up through the Nintendo vs. Sega wars, but I still love games today so there is plenty of material to keep me interested.  It is amazing how much you can learn about video game history and even your favorite games by reading Retro Gamer.
